Great Work on Operation Zero posters and Only 6 Days Left to submit your Sunlight Grant Application

Thank you to all eco-team members who have created an operation zero poster in the school.  They all look fantastic!  Keep it up!  Students performing the eco-skit at the upcoming GNA are reminded to meet during lunch time this week to rehearse their lines.  Our next big task will also be creating the recycling board on Friday.  Stay tuned for more details.

Don't forget that your Sunlight Clean Green Kids Grant Application is due by November 30.  Thanks to everyone who have already submitted their big ideas for continuing our greening efforts of Crosby.  Let's keep our fingers crossed that one of our applications might be selected!  GRASS!

Upcoming Meetings

Please listen to the announcements for meeting dates.  There is a lot to do and the ECO-TEAM NEEDS EVERYONE'S HELP to get Operation ZERO in place.  Signs need to be made.  Green poster board is available from Mr.Wong's portable.  The waste/recycle board needs to be planned.  Skits need to be practised for the GNA.  And don't forget to submit your Sunlight Clean Green Kids Grant Application to either Ms.Idiens or Mr.Wong before November 30.  Thanks for making Crosby a greener place one day at ...

Here's your chance to really make a difference.  Do you have a great idea but you're not sure how to make it happen?  Or is there something that you've always wanted Crosby to do that would help our school and our environment?  Share your idea with Sunlight and if you get selected, you will receive funds to make your ideas come to life.  Click here to download the application form.  The submission deadline is November 30, 2010 so don't delay!
